Kenneth F. Goldmann
Kenneth F. Goldmann, age 90 of Tecumseh, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at his home under the loving care of Hospice of Lenawee. He was born February 2, 1922 in Plainfield, NJ, the son of Franz and Anna (Pedersen) Goldmann. He married Doris Simon, and then on September 2, 1949 he married Ethel Hauck.
Kenneth worked at Tecumseh Products for 42 years as the Director of Marketing and Advertising. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as a Salvage Diver at Pearl Harbor. Kenneth enjoyed woodworking, making and restoring furniture, collecting antiques, and building and refurbishing homes. He especially loved the time he spent with his family and his grand dogs.
Kenneth is survived by his two daughters, Kim K. (Todd Wolf) Goldmann of Tecumseh, and Kendra K. Garner of Clark Lake, Mich.; three grandchildren, Jessica, Amber, and Dylan; two great-grandchildren, Ruby and Reagan; and his niece Jeanne Goldmann. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kip; two brothers, Anker and Henry; and a son-in-law Timothy Garner.
At his request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering is planned for Sunday, January 6 from 2-4 p.m. at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Home.
