Kenneth Leroy Ringman

Kenneth Leroy Ringman passed away April 18, 2016 after 98 mostly good years. He was at his home with his children Bob and Letty Fawcett.

Ken was born September 12, 1917 in Adrian, Mich., to Clarence and Shirley (Clegg) Ringman. After graduation he moved to Tecumseh where he spent the majority of his life. He married Caroline Miller Eagan in 1939. He served as Seaman first class during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his sister Virginia Rabideau, his brother Clifford Ringman, his Wife Caroline, his daughter Kendra Moricz and his granddaughter Sarah Fawcett.

Ken worked for many years at Tecumseh Products, but retired in 1980 due to health problems.

Ken and Caroline enjoyed bowling, golf and being on the water. They were members of Macon Golf Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Tecumseh. Ken won his Master Angler award in his 90’s. Ken and Caroline were fortunate to have enjoyed many years involved with the lives of their children and grandchildren. In his later years, Ken enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, game shows, and the chaos of politics. He also enjoyed opportunities to gather with neighbors and friends, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his daughter Letty (Robert) Fawcett and their daughters Carrie and Susan, his son-in-law George Moricz and his children Jodi (Jerry) Dostal, Benjamin Moricz, and great-grandchildren Nathan, Ashlyn, Emilee and Grant Dostal, and Zander and Griffin Moricz.

The family would like to acknowledge the help of Hospice of Northwest Michigan, which kept him comfortable and allowed him to stay in his home the last four months of his life.

There will be a graveside memorial service this summer in Tecumseh when he will be interred at Brookside Cemetery.
