Kevin S. Stone
Kevin S. Stone, of Tecumseh, Michigan, age 61, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born on November 7, 1954, in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Paul E. and Betty Ann (Tice) Stone. Kevin retired after a long career working for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He enjoyed motocross, restoring vintage motorcycles, and was a private pilot.
In addition to his parents, of Arkansas, he is survived by two sons, Scott Stone of Ypsilanti and Brion (Melissa) Stone of Howell; one granddaughter, Olivia Stone; and his siblings: Paula (Ted) Hinderer of Chelsea, Sharon (Mike) Wasylewski of Arkansas, Dinah Crozier of Grand Rapids, Barry (Debbie) Stone of Dexter, Dennis (Lisa) Stone of Manchester, Jon (Jennifer) Stone of North Carolina, Mark (Ruth Ann) Stone of Dexter, and Lisa (Tony) Byrd of Arkansas, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, with Jim Conklin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Vintage Racing.
