Kiwanis Club to hold ‘Scholarship Express’ on January 13

To the Editor,I had the opportunity to have two children in college this fall, and I recognize that the costs without the help of scholarships would have been a financial hardship for either our family now or on our children in the future to graduate with large student loans.Tecumseh Kiwanis is committed to assisting students in achieving scholarships! The Scholarship Express will again be held in Tecumseh on Sunday, January 13, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The workshop will assist students in several areas of scholarships. They will work on letters of recommendation, essays, interview skills, applications, and organization. There will be several community volunteers to assist and answer questions. In closing, parents are welcome to attend. We ask that you RSVP to TecumsehKiwanis@gmail.com or you can call me at 517.403.6939 for more information. We will forward information to help you get started! In addition, applications for THS Senior of the Month and Youth Services Grant Applications are available at www.tecumsehkiwanis.org.
