Larry J. Palmer

Larry J. Palmer, age 59, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away, August 7, 2017, at the Hospice of Lenawee, Hospice Home. He was born January 29, 1958, in Adrian, Mich., the son of Dennis Golden and Helen Inez (Johnson) Palmer. Larry served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was a graduate of Jackson Community College. Larry was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and dog, Max.

He is survived by his two sons, Jeremy (Amy) Palmer and Josh (Daniela) Palmer; his grandchildren, Hudson and Isaiah; his sister, Audry (John) Ruhl; his brother, Dwain (Chris) Palmer; his significant other, LeeAnn Yonts and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerry Palmer and Terry Palmer and cousin, Tammy Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, Mich. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, Mich., with military honors performed by the Adrian VFW Post 1584 honor guard.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, Mich.
