Lawrence Dean McNeil

Lawrence Dean McNeil, age 84 of Tipton, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014. He was born May 13, 1930 in Hillsdale County, Mich., the son of Wesley and Altha (Moore) McNeil.Lawrence took great pride in his work. Lawrence was a tap and dye operator at Tecumseh Products for many years. He proudly took care of his yard and used to spend much time farming and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.Lawrence is survived by his wife Nancy McNeil, of Tipton; sons David (Jean) McNeil of LaVista, Neb., and Matthew (Sheri) McNeil of Clanton, Ala.; brothers John (Edith) McNeil of Jonesville, Mich., Glenwood (Rheta) McNeil of Charlotte, Mich., Sister-in-Law Donna Lamson of Tipton, Mich., and dear friends Mr. and Mrs. Bob Williams; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Glenola Brown, two sisters, Ardis and Phylis, brother, Daryl and grandson, Matthew.As per Lawrence’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Lenawee. Condolences may be offered to the family by visiting
