Lee Gordon Dawdy
Lee Gordon Dawdy, born January 29, 1923, passed away October 25, 2012. He was a proud WWII Navy Veteran and member of the Tin Can Sailors Club and VFW. Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Angelella-Dawdy; and preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (d.1995).He was the loving father of Tim (Sandy Powell), Carol (Ron) Harrison, Cheryl (Jim Moran); stepfather of Phil (Nance) Angelella, Helene (Bob) McComb, Rose (Mark) Johnson and Marlene (Rob) Christie; and cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Lee was the dear brother of Bert, who resides in Clinton; Jim (Helen); and the late Jess (Jean).A funeral ceremony was planned for Tuesday, Oct. 30. Interment, with Military Honors followed the funeral ceremony at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia. Memorials may be made in loving memory of Lee, to the Wounded Warrior Project.
