Leonard Eugene Wotring

Leonard Eugene Wotring, Sr. was born at home May 24, 1929 in Morenci, the only son of Gladys and Artennis Wotring. 

He entered into eternal rest April 15, 2016 at home with his daughter, Marilyn, by his side.  

Leonard was a WWII veteran and worked for Tecumseh products prior to retiring in 1991.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Claretta (Bob) Seeabolt, Juanita (Roy) Russell, Louise (Joseph) Bainites and Patricia Wotring; ex wife, Etta Wotring; and son, David Wotring. 

He is survived by his sons, Leonard, Jr., of Tucson, Ariz., Phillip of Adrian and Michael of Morenci; daughter that he shared his home with and was cared for, Marilyn Wotring; many nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian with military honors by the Michigan Army National Guard Honor Guard Team at 2 p.m.              

A private burial will be in Lenawee Hills at a later date.  Condolences to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
