Linda L. Fox
Linda L. Fox, age 72, of Tecumseh, passed away November 25, 2013, at home surrounded by family. She was born June 11, 1941 in Tecumseh, Mich., the daughter of Lyle and Alice (Randall) Whelan. On April 5, 1959, she married Gerald L. Fox in Tipton, Mich. He preceded her in death on February 29, 2008.Linda retired from D.S.T Industries, Clinton in 2002. She was active in the Friends of the Tecumseh VFW.Linda enjoyed golfing and bowling. She devoted a majority of her time in later years to her grandchildren, especially great granddaughter “Bella.”Linda is survived by two sons, Teryl (Sandra), and Gregory (Kathy); daughter, Barbara (Terry) Ford; three grandchildren, Tara (Charlie) Andrix, Tiffani Ford, Chase Fox; and great granddaughter, Isabella Ford.In addition to her husband Gerald, she was preceded in death by brother, Wesley, and two sisters, Joann Starkey, and Marilyn Blue. A Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Mich., with Pastor Fritz Kruse officiating.Visitation will also take place on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.Condolences may be offered online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
