Lois Janette Schmitz

Lois Janette Schmitz, 84, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at home. Lois was born in Dundee, Mich. on February 29, 1928. She was preceded in death by one son Stephen Schmitz. Lois was the daughter of the late Seaton A. and Edna Schrader Wilson of Tecumseh.She is survived by her loving husband Alfred, of 67 years, four loving devoted children, Connie (Dale) Olson of Coral Springs, Fla.; Kathleen (Troy) Hornberger of Myrtle Beach, SC; Alaina (Jim) Baumler of Escanaba, Mich. and Chris (Linda) Schmitz of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Mary Hensen of Adrian, 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Nothing warmed Lois’ heart more than having her family together. Lois so enjoyed her baking, her plants, bingo and coin collecting. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her, but never forgotten. The Lord has called her home, let us pray for her. Services were entrusted to Lakeland Funeral Chapel.
