Marie K. Phillips
Marie K. Phillips, 86, of Tecumseh, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 in Adrian, Mich.
She was born on May 13, 1929 in Berkley, Ohio the daughter of Horace and Marjorie (Righter) Phillips.
Marie worked for GTE/Verizon for over 30 years as an office clerk and retired in the early 1990s. She attended Tecumseh River Bend Friends Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and loved to read.
Marie is survived by her brother, David (Cathy) Phillips of Tecumseh, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles, and sisters, Jennie Hollis, Doris Phillips and Thelma Phillips.
A memorial service for Marie will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Park in Adrian, Mich.
Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s choice or Hospice of Lenawee.
