Marie T. Kirkland
Marie T. Kirkland, age 62 of Clinton, died on Sunday, November 23, 2014 in her home. She was born on June 4, 1952 in Jackson, Mich., the daughter of Clarence and Haroldean (Hogan) Timm. She married Dr. Robert “Dean” Kirkland and he survives.In addition to her husband Dean, Marie is survived by two sons, Aric (D’Ann) Kirkland of Saline, Mich., and Andy (Kylie) Kirkland of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Frank (Carol) Timm and Clarence “Mooch” (Gayanne) Timm both of Brooklyn; two sisters; Haroldean “Toots” (Edwin) Hadden of Onsted, Mich., and Delaris “Laurie” Gascoigne of Livonia, Mich., and her grandchildren, Jameson Dean, Aralyn Marie, Hudson Wayne, Landon Cooper and Amelia June Kirkland. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Timothy Timm.At Marie’s request, cremation has taken place. An informal memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org/donate). Condolences may be offered to the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com.
