Mark Donald Irwin

Mark Donald Irwin, age 44, of Onsted, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 19, 1969, in Adrian to David W. and Donna J. (Johnson) Irwin. He was married to Tracy Mosher on June 2, 2001, in Onsted and she survives. Mark served in the U.S. Army from July 1988 to July 1992. He was employed by Chrissy Outdoor Power. He was a Captain of the Cambridge Twp. Fire Department, had formerly served on the Madison Twp. Fire Department and the Grapevine Fire Department of Elizabethtown, Ky. He had also served as a paramedic/supervisor for Huron Valley Ambulance in Jackson, Lenawee and Monroe Counties.In addition to his wife, Tracy, he is survived by his parents, David and Donna Irwin of Adrian; a son, Hunter W. Irwin of Onsted; two daughters, Annalee R. Irwin of Onsted and Brandi N. Irwin of Flaherty, Ky.; a brother, Kevin L. (Christine) Irwin of Manitou Beach; a sister, Rebecca J. (Michael) McCann of Adrian; a granddaughter, Laina M. Irwin; six nieces and nephews; a great-nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral Services for Mark will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, 11 a.m., at the First Church of the Nazarene, 50 Industrial Dr., Adrian, with Dr. David Fulks, Jr. officiating. Following the service a procession to the Cambridge Twp. Fire Department in Onsted will take place, where military rites will be conducted by the Onsted American Legion Durkee-Seager Post No. 550. The Cambridge Township Fire Department will also honor Mark with the Fireman’s Last Call. Cremation will follow the service. Burial of cremains will be at Lenawee County Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh at a later date. Visitation was held Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. and also on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, from 1-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 3050 W. Beecher Rd., Adrian where there was a Fire Department walk through at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the First Church of the Nazarene from 10 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service.Condolences may be sent to the family at Memorial contributions may be made to the Cambridge Twp. Fire Department or to Arbor Hospice. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
