Mary L. Blaska
Mary L. Blaska, age 86, of Tecumseh, passed away February 15, 2013.Mary was born April 21, 1926 in Hillsdale, Mich., the daughter of Ralph and Bessie (Green) Spencer. On July 6, 1953 she married E. Edward Blaska in Auburn, Indiana. He preceded her in death May 16, 1991.She was a graduate of Hillsdale High School. Mary enjoyed her family, friends, photography and country music.Mary is survived by her son, Ernest (Linda) Blaska of Tecumseh; sister, Marjorie (Robert) Hill of Florence, Ky., and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband, Edward, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Florence.Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Pete Valdez officiating. Burial followed in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at the funeral home. Messages to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
