Mike “Rossi” Ross

Mike “Rossi” Ross, age 53 passed on to his Eternal Peace March 7, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center, in Johnson City, Tenn.He was born August 2, 1959, in Bremerhaven, Germany to Terry and Phyllis (Hill) Ross of Tecumseh. He was married to Sandra Herndon July 10, 2004 in Gatlinburg, Tenn. Mike was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, class of 1977.He retired from Bosch Co., formerly Budd Co. in Clinton, and moved to Tennessee when Budd relocated to Johnson City, Tenn. He had his 30 years in and retired four years ago.His love of country music lives on through him, he played bass guitar for a number of years in a country band called “Sunset.” He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra of Elizabethton, Tenn., his parents Terry and Phyllis Ross of Tecumseh; brother, Tim and Amie of Novi; sister, and Sherri and Jeff Perry of Toledo, Ohio, nephews Adrian, Bryan, Matthew, David; niece, Sarah and great niece, Avalon.Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Joyce and Jim Crippin, Billie Dreffs, brother–in-law Leonard Knoedler and Annie, June and Whitney Kimble, and many cousins.He was preceeded in death by his Aunt Dorothy Knoedler, his grandparents, Eugene and Delia Hill and Bill and Ruby Ross and Bill Dreffs (Billie’s husband).A celebration of Mike’s life will be held here in Michigan at a later date in the spring. A memorial spreading of his ashes will be held in Johnson City, Tenn., June 29, 2013, hosted by all of Mike’s loving friends, of which he had many.
