Mildred Irene Moyer
Mildred Irene Moyer, age 88, of Tecumseh, passed away March 19, 2013.Mildred was born May 1, 1924 in Tecumseh, Mich., the daughter of Seaman and Ethel (Steele) Martin.She lived her entire life in the Tecumseh area. Mildred married Rev. Cyrenus McDonnell and he preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1975. She then married Rev. Kenneth Moyer June 17, 1987 and he preceded her in death December 12, 1998. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Yvonne (Bonnie) Autry of Tecumseh; granddaughter, Genise (Troy) Slayton of Fla; grandson, Paul Autry of Tecumseh and one great granddaughter, Nicole Slayton.In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Tom, Robert, Marvin, Edward, Seaman, Jr. and Ray and three sisters, Martha Hite, Arlene Randolph and Jennie Morse.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Blissfield Bible Holiness Church with Pastor Timothy Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Raisin Presbyterian Cemetery, Raisin Township.Visitation will be 12 (noon) to 2 p.m. before the service at the church on Saturday.Arrangements by J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
