Mirl E. Henry

Mirl E. Henry, age 73, of Britton, died Thursday, July 19, 2016, at his home.

He was born December 8, 1942, in Gibsonburg, Ohio to Chester and Flossie (Carnicom) Henry. On September 14, 1963, he married Diana Miller in Elmore, Ohio and she survives.  Mirl had been employed by the Ford Motor Company, Saline, for 31 years, retiring in 1997.  After retirement, he had been employed by Reau Mfg. for 20 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War, from 1962-1966. He was a member of Bethany Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his wife, Diana, he is survived by two sons, Douglas Henry of Ann Arbor and Steven (Donna) Henry of Tecumseh; a daughter, Pamela (Chris) Reau of Britton; five grandchildren, Joshua, Katelyn and Laura Reau and Taylor and Austin Henry; a brother, Lynn (Marge) Henry of Fremont, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Henry of Dallas, Georgia.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Paul and Lowell; and a sister, Laurabelle Fellhauer.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ron Sparks officiating. 

Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian and also on Wednesday from 10 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
