Myra Jean Bush
Myra Jean Bush, age 88, of Tecumseh, passed away May 7, 2015.Myra was born August 30, 1926, in Britton, Mich., the daughter of Harold and Helen (George) Osterhout. On June 28, 1947, she married Robert Bush in Britton. Myra was a lifelong resident of the Britton area. She graduated from Britton High School where she was valedictorian of her class. She was an active member of the Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene, member of the Lenawee County Farm Bureau, Mother of Twins Club and the Tecumseh Grange. She was also a Macon Township Election Official.Myra is survived by three children, Linda (David) Stretch, Laura (Roy) Donko and Larry (Mary Ann) Bush, all of Tecumseh; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Betty) Osterhout; two sisters, Wilhelmina (Francis) Newell and Yvonne (Russell) Cadmus and one sister-in-law, Iona Osterhout.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Lynn Bush and a brother, Wendell Osterhout.Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2015, at the Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ray Hansen officiating. Burial followed in Macon Cemetery. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
