Nashville bluegrass comes to the TCA
Nashville entertainers Nora Jane Struthers and The Party Line will take the stage at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Americana singer-songwriter Nora Jane Struthers, who often wears vintage clothing in her performances, leads the quintet that’s been called one of Nashville’s rising country stars.
The group performs a number of Struther’s original story-songs in their performances, with three part harmonies, fiddle, claw-hammer banjo, acoustic guitar, bass and drums. They play in a bluegrass, folk-rock style. Their latest album is entitled “Carnival.”
Music sites note that those who enjoy performers such as The Dixie Chicks, Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton might like Nora Jane Struthers and The Party Line.
Tickets are $20 for adults, and $18 for seniors and youths. For ticket information, call the TCA at 423.6617.
