Noreen Edna Armstrong
Noreen Edna Armstrong, 74, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed quietly on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the University of Michigan Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Noreen was born June 4, 1940, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Clarence and Lillian Messett. She was married to Denny Armstrong, December 4, 1965, in Antigua. Mrs. Armstrong had an associate degree in gerontology from Wayne County Community College. A career airliner, she began with Air Canada, after a move to Michigan, began with North Central Airlines, to Republic, Northwest, and finally Delta. She and Denny resided in Lincoln Park, Mich., until a move to Tecumseh in 1993. Noreen enjoyed returning to Winnipeg, to see old friends and going to Grand Beach. She loved her family and her dogs. Later Christmases took her to the Florida Keys. She is survived by husband Denny Armstrong, son Leslie, and daughter in-law Tracy, Chance and Sugar. A quiet service was held on May 19 at Handler Funeral Home in Tecumseh, Mich. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Humane Society of Lenawee County, 705 W Beecher St, Adrian, MI, 49221.
