Patrick Gale Miller

Patrick Gale Miller, age 69, of Tecumseh, passed away October 12, 2013.Patrick was born December 16, 1943, in Baltimore City, Maryland, the son of Rodney Miller and Opal (Yoakum) MacKenzie. He was an avid golfer, golfing every day for 41 years before going to work every afternoon at Ford in Rawsonville. He was a member of the Raisin Valley Golf Club. Many will remember him for his sense of humor and generosity.Patrick is survived by his children, DeAnne Ray, Chad (Christine) Miller and Nicholle Miller; grandchildren, Charisse (Jason) Kushmaul, Vanessa Ray, Robert Ray, Kimberly Miller, Curtis Miller and five great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by siblings, Mary (Miller) Ralston, Kenneth Miller and Raymond Miller and parents.The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Herrick Manor and a special thank you to his best friend, Kai.A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Daniel Schultz officiating. Visitation will be 12, noon, to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, until the time of service. Private burial will be Monday at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, with military honors performed by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 34.
