Patriots qualify for playoffs with win over Morenci

Britton Deerfield pulled off the difficult task of winning its last three varsity football contests to automatically qualify for the state playoffs with a 38-6 home victory against Morenci on Friday. Oct. 19.

The Patriots took a 15-8 lead into halftime and shut out the Bulldogs in the second half for the victory.

BD plays at Reading in round one of the playoffs on Friday, Oct. 26.
