Patriots run at Dome Classic Invite

Britton Deerfield’s varsity cross country teams traveled to East Jackson for the Dome Classic Invitational on Tuesday, Aug. 28.“There wasn’t a team score but we ran extremely well given that this will probably be on the toughest courses that we run on all year,” said Patriot boys and girls coach Jay Yockey. “There were a lot of hills and we treated this as a workout because we knew times wouldn't be spectacular today. I’m impressed with how the team responded to the rolling hills.”In the girl’s freshman/sophomore race, BD’s Marisa Kimerer was the top finisher with a third place time of 24:05.
