Pearl Elaine Osburn
Pearl Elaine Osburn, age 94, of Tecumseh, Mich., Englewood, Fla., and Goffstown, N.H., passed away April 3, 2017. Pearl was born October 22, 1922, the daughter of Lillard Elmer “Tobie” and Pearl Elaine Brown. She married Raymond Charles (Chuck) Osburn and he preceded her in death in 1979.
Pearl was a member of the Tecumseh First Presbyterian Church and the Englewood, Florida Presbyterian Church. Many will remember Pearl as Mrs. Osburn, the kind, wonderful teacher who taught many years in the Tecumseh Public Schools. Pearl loved her daily walks, playing cards with her friends and family, watching Michigan football and of course the “Wheel” (Wheel of Fortune).
Pearl is survived by her children, Charles (Debbie) Osburn of Waterford, Mich., Jeff (Susan) Osburn of Goffstown, N.H., Mark Osburn of Essex, Mass., and Kevin (Laura) Osburn of Killdeer, Ill.; grandchildren, Chad Osburn, Shannon Osburn, Adam Osburn, Benjamin Osburn, Matthew Osburn, Christopher Osburn and Ashley Osburn; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Chuck, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Geraldine Murray, Lillis Dolan and L. E. “Rod” Brown.
Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. A memorial service will be held at a later date this summer.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lenawee County Education Fund. Funds may be mailed or delivered to the LCEF at Lenawee County Educational Foundation, 4107 N. Adrian Hwy., Adrian, MI 49221.
