On August 10, 1973 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, she married Chuck Albaugh and they have shared 44 years together.

Peggy graduated from Britton High School in 1971. She went on to continue her schooling and worked as an orthodontic assistant for over 30 years. She was instrumental in organizing the 3 on 3 basketball at Britton. She loved to cook, hosting family holiday dinners and summer parties; it also led to another career in catering. Peggy crocheted baby blankets for many of her family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing cards, especially euchre. Peggy will be remembered as a devoted wife, mom and loving grandma, and will be missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her husband, Chuck, she is survived by two daughters, Toni (Adam) Tilley of Dundee and Kasey (Brian) Bartels of Adrian; a sister, Patti (Dan) Fitch of Britton; a brother, Perry (Lori) Taylor of Britton; four grandchildren, Brenna, Brantley, Harper and Everett; several special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; stepmother, Peggy Taylor, and her beloved dog Brady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Madonna.

Visitation for Peggy was held Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Britton Congregational Christian Church with Rev. Jim Schenck officiating with visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial was in Ridgeway Cemetery.
