A. Phyllis Wallace

A. Phyllis Wallace, age 98 of Tecumseh died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 at Cambrian Senior Living. She was born November 10, 1919 in Jackson, the daughter of the late Lyman L. and Vera B. (Cooper) Perkins. 

Phyllis worked as a nurse in Dr. Richard Coak’s office for many years and later worked for Schmidt and Sons Pharmacy, both in Tecumseh.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Jim) Craig of Auburn, Ind., and Debby Kayner of Tecumseh; three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Wallace, a son, Commander William J. Coffey and a son-in-law, Dennis C. Kayner.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Cambrian Senior Living and Hospice of Lenawee for their care of Phyllis. 

A memorial Mass will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Tecumseh with Fr. Daniel Wheeler as celebrant.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
