Pool is a ‘safe place’ where students like to swim and ‘hang out’

To the Editor,

The pool means a lot to the community and me. The pool is a place where I can relax. It is a safe place for me. My friends and I meet up at the pool and hang out and swim. We have a lot of fun. Another reason why the pool is important is that it has taught kids how to swim. The pool is like a diamond to Tecumseh. And I can’t forget about open swim. It is where I can play freely. The pool is good exercise because it strengthens heart and lungs. I just want to have a voice in why the pool is important to the community and me.
