Priscilla Ann (Glascock) Risner

Priscilla Ann (Glascock) Risner, 68, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully November 20, 2013 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 6, 1945 to Robert V. and Betty (McCaughen) Glascock in Tecumseh, Mich. Her family settled in Tecumseh in the early 1800’s. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1963. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Andy Ray Risner, on November 23, 1963. They shared their life and love for each other for 50 years. Together they raised three children, Belinda (Benjamin) Dutton, Christopher (Bobbie Jo) Risner and Janelle McKinney (Harold Jackson). Priscilla enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, NASCAR racing, weekly family card games, old movies, genealogy, Michigan football and basketball and dancing with Andy. In addition to her husband and children she is survived by nine grandchildren, Deron (Alisha) Castle, Jacob Castle, Kristen (Eric) Byers, Andrea Risner, Zackary Risner, Kaleb Baker, Kyle Baker, Sean Mckinney, and Rachelle McKinney, eight great-grandchildren, Bryce Castle, Brody Ray Castle, Rebekah Byers, Avion Frazier, Zoey McKinney, Eric McKinney, Lexi Baker and Klppy Hall, sister Donna (Charles) Mueller of Ind., brother Robert Terry (Francie) Glascock of Tecumseh, brother-in-law Jim (Anita) Risner, sister-in-law Celeste (Warren) Smith and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents John and May McCaughen and Preston and Blanche Glascock, parents-in-law Trulie and Skip Gray, brother-in-law Russell Risner, nephews Jeremy Glascock and Eric Dyke. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. At her request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later time.
