Robert Arthur Irvine

Robert A. Irvine, 75, of Hudson, Mich., passed away at his home on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 12, 1940, in Detroit, Mich., the son of John L. and Valeda L. (Christian) Irvine. He married Judith A. Weber on October 4, 1958, in Detroit, Mich., and then married Delia F. Potter in 1983, in Westland, Mich.

Bob was employed with General Motors with most of his time spent at the Willow Run Assembly Plant, retiring in 1995, with over 30 years of service. He graduated from Redford Union High School Class of 1958, attended the Waldron Wesleyan Church and was a member of Maple City Gold Wings.

Surviving Bob, are his four children, Lori L. Johnson of Arvada, Colo., Teri A. (Will) Riggs of LaFayette, Colo., Debra L. (Douglas) White of Fenton, Mich., and Robert (Keri) Irvine of Adrian, Mich.; one brother, John C. (Elaine) Irvine of Hudson, Mich.; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles L. Irvine.

Funeral services for Bob will be Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Waldron Wesleyan Church (200 E. Center St., Waldron, Mich. 49288) with Pastor Tom Brodbeck officiating.

Visitation was on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Waldron Wesleyan Church. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson at 2 p.m. following the luncheon at the church.

Local arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
