Robert Bruce Robinson

Robert Bruce Robinson, age 78 of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Sunday morning, Nov. 2, 2014, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Springfield, Ohio, to Loran and Mabel (Vineyard) Robinson. He was a graduate of Springfield High School and Ohio State University where he received his bachelors in education. While attending Ohio State, Bob participated in ROTC.Bob taught at Springfield High School for several years after which he transitioned into the business world but he continued to teach and mentor throughout his life. He had an interesting and successful career path, including construction, retail executive and funnel cake wagon owner in his retirement! Bob was an active member of Maumee United Methodist Church and involved in many school and community organizations. Nothing was more important to him than his family, and he treasured their Sunday family dinners and their annual camping trips to Kentucky.Surviving is his loving wife, Jackie; children, Brenda Lowe, Shari (Joe) Schwanzl, Bruce (Michelle) Robinson; grandchildren, Jason Pardon, Shannon Lowe, Sara (Matt) Haig, Steven Lowe, Jillian (Todd) Gilsdorf, John, Mark and Emily Schwanzl, Nick Robinson and Payton, Madi, Zach and Skyelar Warncke; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jameson Walter and Claire and Ethan Gilsdorf; and sister, Sharon (Jerry) Jones.
