Sandra “Sandy” Yates Titus
Sandra “Sandy” Yates Titus, age 73, who resided in Tecumseh, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian. Born in Piqua, Ohio on June 3, 1943, the daughter of the late Miles and Mary Jane (Schneyer) Yates. On July 25, 1964, she married Tom Titus in Cincinnati, Ohio and he survives.
Sandy loved to read, to go bicycling, kayaking, walking, playing bridge and being with her friends. She was full of life and love for those around her. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Tom; her two children, Betsy (Don) Hall of Morenci, Mich., and Tom (Cathy) Titus of Centre Hall, Pa.; her grandchildren, Scott Hall and Hope Titus; and her sister, Sharon (Jack) Sparrow of Santa Maria, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Rick Yates and her sister, Judy Curtis.
A memorial service will be held for Sandy on November 12 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes at 3 p.m. with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, contributions to Hospice of Lenawee would be greatly appreciated.
