Sharon S. Sauter
Sharon S. Sauter, 65, of Tecumseh, passed away at ProMedica Bixby Hospital on August 10, 2012 with her loving husband at her side. She was born August 31, 1946 in Tecumseh, the daughter of Henry and Rita (Piotter) Korth. On May 21, 1992 she was united in marriage with Michael Sauter and he survives.Sharon was employed at NSK, Anspec, and Whatman in Ann Arbor as a Customer Service Representative for over 20 years, until retiring on June 14, 2012. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, flower gardening, their northern cabin and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband Michael, Sharon is survived by one son, Michael Van Brunt of Onsted, three grandchildren Brent (Stacy) Van Brunt, Crystal (Shawn) Strawhand, and Samantha Van Brunt, and great grandson Mason Van Brunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Robert, and her beloved dog, Maggie. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.At her request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Lenawee County Humane Society.
