TDL director sends thank you for support of library millage

To the Editor,On behalf of the library board and staff, I’d like to extend a huge thank you to the voters of the library district for overwhelmingly supporting our millage proposals! We are very grateful for the confidence you have placed in us with this vote. You have our pledge that we will continue to provide responsive service, innovative programs for all ages and to manage your tax dollars with the utmost care.We would also like to thank the many members of the Tecumseh District Library Ballot Question Committee. So many people, too many to name here, worked diligently to secure affirmative votes. For their efforts, we will be forever grateful! We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Anne Walker and Barb Hoeffner. These two amazing people gave up their personal lives for months as they led the charge! Without the tireless dedication demonstrated by Anne and Barb as they organized, recruited and reached out to the community, I do not know where we would be today.Again, thank you all for supporting and believing in the mission of the Tecumseh District Library!S. Gayle Hazelbaker, director, Tecumseh District Library
