Tecumseh’s boys fall to 0-6 overall

Tecumseh’s varsity boys basketball team lost 41-34 against Chelsea on the road, Friday, Jan. 10 and dropped its following game on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Ann Arbor Huron, falling 63-19.The Indians fell to 0-6 overall with the losses.Against Ann Arbor Huron, Tecumseh closed the first half down by 16 points and was unable to get any closer in the second half. Tecumseh scored four points in the third quarter and was shut out in the fourth.Doug Sheats led the Indians’ offense with five points. Noah Willett pulled down five rebounds while Jeff Arnett and Josh Arbini had four each. Willett also added four blocks.Tecumseh’s junior varsity boys basketball team traveled to Chelsea on Thursday, Jan. 9 and squeezed out a close 42-40 victory. Leading scorers for Tecumseh were Zach Watkims (10), Jaimen Glover (7) and Sam Benschoter (7).
