Tecumseh’s Pelham named to All-State football team
Tecumseh linebacker Preston Pelham, a 6’3”, 240-pound senior, was recently named to the Associated Press Division 3-4 All-State football team.He was also named the Daily Telegram’s Lenawee County Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight year. He is the first ever player to receive this honor.Pelham set the overall tackle record for both single season and total for career (411) in three years on varsity with the Indians.During the regular season Pelham recorded 129 tackles (14.3 per game), including 10 for a loss, seven sacks, three forced fumbles, one recovery and an interception. He also added 28 tackles in two playoff games.
