Tecumseh bowling teams see action at home

On Monday, Dec. 16 Tecumseh bowling teams had their first home bowling battles at Ten Pin Alley. Both the Tecumseh High School (THS) varsity boys and girls came away with two big wins against their county rival the Maples of Adrian.

The lady Indians moved their record to 2-0 in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with a convincing 29-1 win. Senior Kaylee Pinter led the girls with a big 238 game. Junior Liza Verrier pitched a nice 197 game to help close out the win.

The varsity boys evened their SEC record at 1-1 taking down the Maples 22-8. The Tribe got off to a quick 10-0 lead winning both Baker games with scores of 192 and 216. Leading the Tribe were sophomore Tyson Tennyson with a strong 226 game. Junior Jack Burnett rocked the lanes with his 229 game, and junior CJ Herron fired a nice 204 game.

The THS JV boys earned a 22-8 win. Junior Devin Macomber pitched a 203 game and freshman Andrew Rowe cranked out two nice games of 180 and 194.

The THS JV girls collected a 28-2 win. Sophomore Abby Werden led the team with games of 178 and 185.
