Tecumseh Chamber sends thank yous to parade participants

To the Editor,Once again, Tecumseh proved that even a little rain & drizzle can’t stop us from having a great parade. The parade wouldn’t be possible without all the people that work behind the scenes to bring it together. The Tecumseh Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank those that made it possible, including First Federal Bank who brought Santa to town, our sponsors Handler Funeral Home, Ives Auto Parts, Tecumseh Big Boy and Sunderland Insurance, Tecumseh Plywood who provided the announcer platform, Kathy Williams from WLEN Radio who did a great job as our announcer, James Scott from O’Hara Chrysler who provided the dignitaries car, the City of Tecumseh who helps us with barricades and moving the Santa house into place every year, the Tecumseh Police Department who help keep us all safe, Dan Righter at Brookside Cemetery for the use of the city’s gators, Tecumseh Trolley & Limousine Service for providing the trolley for our Musgrove Evans Award recipients and all those who helped with lineup and traffic control, Jim Lincoln, Sue & Frank Garcia, Joe & Sherri Tuckey, Robin Robertson, Mike & Brenda Velandra, Katie Mattison, Barbara Blanden and REACT. Of course we’d also like to thank those who participated for all the work and creativity they put forth in building their floats and we thank all of you who come out every year to watch and celebrate with us!Vicki PhiloExecutive DirectorTecumseh Area Chamber of Commerce
