Tecumseh girls beat Dundee

Tecumseh’s varsity girls basketball team hit the road and defeated Dundee 40-36 on Friday, Jan. 3.The Indians improved to 4-3 overall with the victory.A 12 point second quarter had the Indians finish the first half with a 21-12 lead at the end of the first half but Dundee attacked the net and outscored the Indians (20-7) in the third quarter to take a 32-28 advantage heading into the final quarter.Tecumseh outscored Dundee 12-4 in the final quarter with Kayla Kormos adding eight of her 17 game points in the frame to secure the victory.Kormos also led the Indians in rebounding with 13.Morgan Skelton scored 11 points for the Indians while Olivia Mills recorded four assists. Tecumseh’s junior varsity girls team (5-2) beat Dundee 56-51, led by Megan Freitas’ 17 points.
