Tecumseh volleys in SEC Jamboree

Tecumseh’s varsity volleyball team participated in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) White Division Jamboree at Lincoln on Tuesday, Aug. 28, and went 4-1 overall.The Indians lost to Dexter (25-23, 22-25, 22-25) to open but followed with wins against Chelsea (25-21, 25-19), Lincoln (25-10, 25-19), Adrian (25-15, 22-25, 25-11) and Ypsilanti (19-25, 25-10, 25-15)Leaders for Tecumseh included Hannah Galloway (57 kills, 13 blocks), Jordyn Norkey (45 kills, 38 digs), Jessica Benedict (129 assists, 13 aces) and Kayla Kormos (9 aces, 7 blocks).The Indians are now 8-6-1 overall and 4-1 in the SEC.Tecumseh is scheduled to play next on Sept. 8 at Clinton’s Invitational.
