Terry Lee Keith

Terry Lee Keith, age 65, of Clinton died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at home. He was born May 22, 1947 in Gary, Ind., to Edward C. Keith, Jr. and Doris (Drake) Keith Carpenter. Terry was a lifetime resident of the Tecumseh and Clinton area, graduating from Tecumseh High School in 1965. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving at the bases in KI Sawyer, Marquette, Mich., and Bitburg, Germany. Terry was a member of UAW Local 892 in Saline and the Tecumseh V.F.W. Terry was employed at Ford Motor Company retiring in 2002. In 1988 Terry opened TK Originals in Adrian. In 1982 Terry was awarded by Probate Judge C. Ralph Kohn as Volunteer of the Year in Lenawee County Probate Volunteer Program. Terry enjoyed bowling for years at Ten Pin Alley in Tecumseh and was an avid NASCAR fan.Terry is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Sprague of Adrian; one son, Russell (Jennifer) Keith of Tecumseh; two sisters, Sandra R. Keith of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and Vicki (Phil Downs) Carpenter of Beulah, Mich.; and five grandchildren, Jacob Louis Emans and Carter, Peyton, Ajay and Keegan Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Harvey Carpenter, and his Aunt Vaunda Hecker.Funeral services for Terry will be held on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Reverend Gail Blum officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the Tecumseh American Legion Underwood-Orr Post No. 34, and Tecumseh V.F.W. Hall Slater Post No. 4187. Visitation was on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com.
