To the Editor,Tecumseh is a community comprised of wonderful and caring people that support the activities to improve and enhance the lives of children! Communities In Schools of the Tecumseh Area, CISTA, would like to thank all the organizations and individuals that support CISTA and the Friday Food Pack program, FFP. Over 35 volunteers from the Tecumseh Arbor of Gleaner Life Insurance Society, Kiwanis Club of Tecumseh, Girl Scout Troop 60269, CISTA Board and staff, and the community were able to pack 277 FFPs in under an hour!FFPs are weekly nutritional supplements given to identified students for the school year, generally consisting of one drink and five to six snacks. FFP food and monetary contributions were provided by Tecumseh Arbor of Gleaner Life Insurance Society, Kiwanis Club of Tecumseh, Girl Scout Troop 60269 and their families, Jen Osworth, Amy DeJonghe, Heather Franco, Sherri Tuckey, First Federal, Lana Archer, and other anonymous donors.
