Thanks United Bank & Trust for sponsoring Music in the Park series

To the Editor,As summer draws to a close, so does one of the Parks and Recreation Department’s favorite programs, Music in the Park. On the third Thursday of each summer month, Adams Park was filled with the sounds of fantastic music. Families gathered with blankets, lawn chairs, snacks and friends to enjoy the concerts.I would like to thank United Bank and Trust for underwriting our Music in the Park Summer Concert Series. United Bank and Trust makes it possible for us to pay the entertainers and provide our community with evenings of free entertainment. In addition, I would also like to thank Busch’s. Not only do they add to the events by offering hotdogs, snacks, and beverages during the concerts; they donate the proceeds of the items sold back to the Music in the Park program!I would also like to thank everyone who came out and enjoyed the concerts. Your continued support makes this program possible.Shelley LimCultural & Leisure Services Director City of Tecumseh
