Tim W. Jennings

Tim W. Jennings, 68, of Grant, passed away on April 30, 2014, in Grand Rapids. He was born on January 7, 1946 to Casper and Caroline (Peterson) Jennings in Jackson, Mich. He worked at Peerless Gear and Machine in Clinton, Mich., from August 64 until they closed in February 1993. He retired from his maintenance position at Amway on January 7, 2011. On November 20, 1965 he married Linda Collins in Ludington. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. Tim loved to hunt, fish and camp with his grandchildren. He is survived by Linda; daughter, Tereasa and Allen Bacus of Britton; his son Michael and Daniele Jennings of Sand Lake; six grandchildren, his sister Shirley and Jack Harley of Ludington; his brother Donal Jennings of Tucson, Ariz.; his half-brother Billy; and his half-sister Cheryl. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Richard Jennings, Fred (Buck) Jennings, his sisters Margaret Escott, Rosemary Jennings, and his half-brother Thomas Jennings.Visitation was held Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Fields-McKinley Funeral and Cremation Services, Grant Chapel.Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014, 11 a.m. at the Fields-McKinley Funeral and Cremation Services Grant Chapel with Pastor Mike Conell, officiating. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Online condolences can be given at www.fieldsmckinley.com.
