TJ Baker pitches win over Summerfield

TJ Baker went the entire distance en route to a 10-1 Clinton varsity baseball victory at Summerfield on Monday, April 22.Baker pitched all seven innings and allowed one earned run on four hits while walking one and striking out 10.Clinton jumped out early and held a 5-0 lead by the end of the fifth inning. A five run sixth inning for Clinton totaled all of the Redskins’ runs.Cullen Zimmerman recorded a 4-for-4 effort at the plate, producing six RBI. Bret Tschirhart went 2-for-4 with two runs for Clinton. Hunter Pizzo had a hit, a run and two RBI with three at bats.
