Hillsdale Academy placed first in the event with a score of 268. Paige Watkins carded 87 to lead the Indians. Tecumseh’s Carley LaPlant carded 94 for a personal best at the event while Leigh Kapnick recorded a personal best 96. Becca’s [Nowak] back responded well to a Rolfing treatment last night and Paige insisted on played through dizziness and shortage of breath today.”The Indians are looking forward to Regional competition on Oct. 11, and hope to advance to the state tournament as a team.“I think we are poised to be our best at Regionals,” said Smith.Tecumseh was scheduled to play at the Monroe Invitational at Sandy Creek Golf Course on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Results will be reported in next week’s Herald.
