Valden Ora Bidle

Valden (Val) Ora Bidle was born Jan. 29, 1920 to John Jacob and Blanche (Manwaring) Bidle.  At 14 Val was left to successfully raise his 4 siblings working the family farm.  He farmed and logged most of his life but retired from Consumer’s Power as a meter reader. Val and his only wife Florence Mae (Carothers) Bidle attended Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Tecumseh, Mich., and had two children, Margie J. (Bidle) Taylor and Jerry D. Bidle. 

At 98, in Largo, Fla.  Val finally went to be with Jesus.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings Ivan and Laurel (a.k.a. Bud) Bidle, Vera (Bidle) Wendle, his wife, Florence, his daughter Margie, his son Jerry and three grandchildren Lukus, Michael and Joseph Taylor. He is survived by his sister Fernie Von Sosson, two grandchildren Trevor Bidle, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Daniel Taylor, Seattle, Wash., and several great-grand children to whom he leaves his legacy of a love for God and family. He will be laid to rest by his wife at Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, Mich.
