Victor Owen Lawson
Victor Owen Lawson, age 98, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 in Kalamazoo, Mich. He was born August 4, 1915, in Deerfield, Mich. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy (Logan) Lawson, in 1997 and a son, Lavern Lawson, in 1985. He served in the United States Army and was a barber in Tecumseh for over 50 years. Surviving Victor are three sons, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred at Deerfield Cemetery, date pending. A private memorial service was held in Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Britton, Mich. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
