Vivian Janet Gray

Vivian Janet Gray, 92, of Tecumseh went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013. She was born in Monroe on Sept. 5, 1921, to Kenneth and Florence (Beauch) Kleinert. She married Willis A. Gray of Ann Arbor on June 22, 1941, in Dundee. He preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1990.She was a homemaker and a great cook. She also enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Vivian and her daughter Linda Moody made their home together in Tecumseh for the past 23 years.Vivian is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Bruno) Baron of Ontonaugon, Mich. and Linda Moody of Tecumseh; one sister, Charlotte Snyder of Dundee; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffrey, Trina, Tressa, Regina, Jason and Japheth; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and four brothers.Cremation has taken place and a memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.Arrangements were made by the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home of Tecumseh.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help cover funeral cost. A portion of the donations will be given to the Department on Aging in Adrian in honor of Vivian.
