Volunteers, supporters of Special Olympics thanked for efforts
To the Editor,The Tecumseh High School (THS) MiCI class would like to thank the community, local businesses, and student volunteers who supported them during the recent Special Olympics event. We would like to express our appreciation to Carpet One, Kemner-Iott and Benz Insurance Agencies, First Federal Bank, and Hacker Jewelers for their donations toward athletic apparel. Busch’s of Tecumseh and Lev’s Bakery also generously donated food and pastries. THS Student Athletic Advisory and Leadership Council students, under the direction of Kristalyn Musselman, worked events and supported the Special Olym-pians throughout the day and the THS band, under the direction of Michael Bough, performed at the opening ceremony. The event was a wonderful example of collaboration and camaraderie between the community, businesses, and students to make the day truly memorable.Belinda Miller, Staff, and Students
