Wilma J. Randolph

Wilma J. Randolph, age 89, of Tecumseh, passed away October 19, 2013, at Herrick Manor. Wilma was born October 10, 1924 in Tecumseh, Mich., the daughter of Oscar and Mildred (Beaubien) Meads. On October 14, 1942, she married Clarence H. Randolph in Tecumseh and he preceded her in death. She enjoyed making wedding cakes for many years and doing crafts. One of her favorite pastimes was playing the piano and singing hymns. She looked forward to going to Heaven and joining her Heavenly Father.She was a member of the Tecumseh Friends Church and later a member of the Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene.Wilma is survived by her children, Joyce (John) Martin of Jackson and Charles (LeeAnn) Randolph of Britton; grandchildren, Jason, Aaron, Janel, David, Kevin, Christi, Carrie, Becki and Shelly; 22 great grandchildren and brother, Robert (Betty) Meads of Tecumseh.In addition to her husband, Clarence, Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Wilbur, and Merle; sisters, Francis, Eula and Shirley and one great grandson, Brendan.Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at the Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene, Ridgeway with Rev. Ray Hansen officiating. Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh and one hour preceding the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene.
